2022 Has Been Porsche India's Best Sales Year Ever

Porsche India has announced that 2022 has been its best sales year ever. The German brand reported a 64 per cent growth in sales over the previous year, with buyer interest strong across its SUV and sports cars ranges. In total, 779 retail sales were recorded for the year compared with 474 units during the previous year, which was at the time Porsche India’s best result since 2014. Manolito Vujicic, Brand Director, Porsche India said the strong result shows the upward trajectory that started in in 2021 was maintained through 2022. Porsche in India also moved towards electrification with the launch of the all-new electric Taycan in December of 2021. Mahindra XUV400 has recorded more than 10,000 bookings on the extended Republic Day weekend. Considering this figure, the delivery period of the electric SUV is expected to be 7 months. Launched earlier this month, the Mahindra XUV400 starts from INR 15.99 lakh. The introductory prices are applicable on first 5,000 bookings for each of the two variants. Mahindra aims to deliver 20,000 units of the XUV400 within a year of its launch based on current supply chain visibility. India’s five highly-popular cars are ready to receive updates (including facelifts and new-generation change) in 2023. The list includes the Tata Harrier and Safari facelifts, Honda City facelift, Kia Seltos facelift and the next-generation Hyundai Verna. Here’re some key details of the aforementioned upcoming models. Honda City Facelift Honda Cars India is reported to bring in the updated City sedan by March 2023. The new model will witness a few changes inside and out, while the engine setup will remain intact. It’s likely to come with a bigger black grille, updated bumper and fog lamp assembly, massive air dams, newly-designed alloy wheels and revised taillamps. Buoyed by positive response for the new Brezza & Grand Vitara, Maruti Suzuki is now ready to expand its SUV portfolio by launching two new models in the next 3-4 months. Moreover, the brand’s most expensive utility vehicle will be launched in the country by festive season, before Diwali 2023. Adding to it, the company is preparing the next-gen Swift twins as well as an all-electric SUV based on the EVX concept. Maruti Suzuki will launch the new Jimny 5-door and the Fronx crossover in the country by mid-2023. Interested buyers can book the new Suzuki Jimny and the Fronx online or at authorised NEXA dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000 and Rs 11,000 respectively.
