Mahindra XUV700 Gets Expensive – Updated Price List                         

Mahindra & Mahindra has increased prices of its poplar XUV700 SUV by up to Rs 64,000. The SUV model lineup is currently available in two series – MX and AX – spread across 23 variants (petrol and diesel), which are priced from Rs 13.45 lakh to Rs 25.48 lakh.

Prices of the petrol manual variant start from Rs 13.45 lakh and go up to Rs 19.88 lakh, while the petrol automatic variants cost between Rs 17.61 lakh – Rs 23.60 lakh.

Mahindra XUV700 Waiting Period

The diesel manual and automatic variants are available within the price range of Rs 13.96 lakh – Rs 22.32 lakh and Rs 18.33 lakh – Rs 25.48 lakh respectively. There are two AWD, automatic diesel variant, which are priced at Rs 23.74 lakh and Rs 25.48 lakh.

The Mahindra XUV700 5-seater petrol and diesel models can be had within the price range of Rs 13.45 lakh – Rs 19.68 lakh, while the 7-seater variants cost between Rs 19.88 lakh – Rs 25.48 lakh. All aforementioned prices are ex-showroom.

Mahindra XUV700 Deliveries

Powering the Mahindra XUV700 petrol is a 2.0L, 4-cylinder turbo engine that’s good enough for 200bhp and 380Nm. The diesel version derives power from a 2.2L, 4-cylinder mHawk turbo motor delivering 155bhp with 360Nm (in the entry-level variants) and 185bhp with 420Nm (MT)/450 (AT) (in higher variants). It comes with four drive modes – Zip, Zap, Zoom and Custom. Both motors are available with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The lower diesel variants are offered with manual transmission only.

The home-grown automaker has confirmed that it will bring in the electric iteration of the Mahindra XUV700. The model was showcased as Mahindra XUV.e8 concept last year in UK. Its production-ready version will come a battery pack with range up to 80kWh and AWD system. The power figure will be around 230bhp – 350bhp. The electric XUV.e8 will be longer, wider and taller than the ICE-powered XUV700.
