2022 has been a profitable year for Mahindra & Mahindra. The carmaker received the highest ever bookings, thanks to mega launches including the new Scorpio-N, Scorpio Classic and XUV300 Turbosport. SUVs like updated Mahindra Thar and XUV700 are also generating volume for the carmaker in the country. However, the Mahindra SUVs are currently observing highest ever waiting period due to semiconductor shortage. In order to reduce waiting period of SUVs, the company is running its manufacturing at full capacity. In Q4 2022, Mahindra’s monthly SUV production capacity stands at 29,000.
