Maruti S-Presso Xtra Edition Key Features; Price Reveal Soon

Maruti Suzuki has introduced a new, special edition of the S-Presso mini SUV in the country. Called the Maruti S-Presso Xtra Edition, the model receives a few cosmetic enhancements and sporty treatment inside the cabin. It seems to be based on the top-end VXi trim. Prices of the limited edition are yet to be revealed. The standard version of the S-Presso comes within the price range of Rs 4.25 lakh – Rs 6.10 lakh (ex-showroom). On the exterior, the new Maruti S-Presso special edition features ‘Xtra’ badge, wheel arch and door cladding and a front skid plate. It has the same 14-inch steel rims with the wheel caps that’s available on the standard version. Interior has been enhanced with the sporty red accents on the door panel and ‘Xtra’ edition mats. The centre instrument panel has red surrounds.

As mentioned above, the mini SUV’s limited edition is likely to be based on the fully-loaded VXi variant that comes some exclusive features. The list includes a 7.0-inch SmartPlay Studio infotainment system with the smartphone connectivity (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) and voice recognition, steering mounted controls, internal wing mirror adjustment, rear parcel tray, font passenger airbag, front seatbelt pre-tensioners, parking brake warning and body coloured wing mirrors and door handles.

No changes will be made to its engine setup. Similar to the standard version, the Maruti S-Presso Xtra edition will source power from the 1.0L, naturally aspirated K10C petrol engine. The motor pushes out a peak power of 66bhp and 89Nm of torque. Transmission choices includes a 5-speed manual and an AMT unit.

The carmaker might announce its prices at the Delhi Auto Expo in January 2023. The model will also be put up for display at the mega automotive event. Stay tuned to IndiaCarNews.
