Electric Citroen e-C3 Interior Revealed – Key Features

Citroen e-C3 electric hatchback will be the first product launch from the French automaker in India in 2023. Ahead of its market arrival, the interior of the model has been revealed in a new spy image. The interior layout and features of the electric C3 are exactly similar to the ICE-powered version. The spotted model misses out on the keyless go and automatic climate control. The toggle switch has been replaced with the conventional gear lever. The EV also gets an ECO mode.

Just so you know, the petrol-powered Citroen C3 comes in two trims – Live and Feel. The Live variant offers features such as a digital instrument panel, front power windows with one-touch down for driver, air conditioner and dual airbags. Features such as a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, 4 speakers, steering mounted controls, remote locking, tilt adjustable steering, speed sensitive auto door lock and roof rails are exclusively offered on the Feel trim.

The French automaker has already revealed that the LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) cells for the Citroen e-C3 will be sourced from Svolt Energy. The electric hatchback will feature a 30.2kWh battery pack and an electric motor delivering power worth 84bhp and 143Nm of torque. Once launched, the new Citroen electric car will take on the Tata Tiago EV that’s offered with a 19.2kWh and a 24kWh battery pack. While the former delivers a range of 250km, the latter one promises 315km. Tata provides three charging options with the Tiago EV – a 50kW DC fast charger, a 7.2kWh AC fast charger and a standard 3.3kW home charger. The model comes in XE, XT, XZ+ and XZ+ Tech Lux trims, which are priced from Rs 8.49 lakh to Rs 11.79 lakh (all, ex-showroom).
