The latest addition to the carmaker’s catalogue is the new Tata Tigor EV that has a claimed range of up to 306 km and boasts its 4-star GNCAP safety rating. The new Tata Tigor EV is the brand’s second electric car for the personal segment. It is also the second Tata car (after Tata Nexon EV ) to feature the state-of-the-art high voltage electric architecture – Ziptron. The newly-launched 2021 Tata Tigor EV has achieved four star safety rating in the latest Global NCAP (New Car Assessment Programme) crash test.  It’s the first ever electric vehicle to be tested by global safety watchdog under their ‘Safer Cars For India’ initiative. The new Tigor EV has received 4 stars for both adult and child occupant protection with scores of 12 points out of 17 and 37.24 points out of 49.00 respectively.
