All Maruti Cars To Get More Standard Safety Features

Maruti Suzuki will soon introduce two safety features as standard fitments on all its existing models in the country. All Maruti cars will receive seat belt reminders for all seats and electronic stability control (ESC). While the former will reduce risk of serious injuries (by 50%) in case of accident, the latter prevents loss of control during hard-steering maneuvers.

Besides this, the carmaker recently introduced the three-point seatbelts for all passengers on the Baleno model lineup. The hatchback became the first car in its segment to get this feature. Now, it also comes with an adjustable rear headrest for the middle occupant.
