New Mahindra XUV700 MX 7-Seater – Price, Features Explained

Mahindra & Mahindra has expanded its XUV700 SUV lineup with a new entry-level 7-seater variant, the MX, priced at Rs 15 lakh. It’s about Rs 40,000 more expensive than the 5-seater version and Rs 3 lakh cheaper than the AX3 7-seater variant. The new Mahindra XUV700 MX 7-seater is being offered with a 2.2L diesel engine that delivers a peak power of 156 bhp. It comes with a 6-speed manual transmission. The MX 5-seater variant is also available with a 2.0L turbo petrol engine and a 6-speed manual transmission.

Similar to its 5-seater counterpart, the new Mahindra XUV700 MX 7-seater is available in five color options: Midnight Black, Napoli Black, Everest White, Red Rage, and Dazzling Red. In terms of features, this entry-level 7-seater variant offers all the amenities available in its 5-seater counterpart, including pop-out door handles, roof rails, a rear spoiler, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, four speakers, a 7-inch instrument cluster, USB-A and USB-C ports, tilt-adjustable steering, power-adjustable ORVMs, power windows, steering-mounted controls, electric mirror adjustment, Isofix anchors, and follow-me-home headlamps.

Mahindra XUV700 Delivery

Recently, the automaker introduced a special Mahindra XUV700 Blaze Edition in three variants: AX7 L petrol-AT, AX7 L diesel-MT, and AX7 diesel-AT, priced at Rs 25.54 lakh, Rs 24.24 lakh, and Rs 26.04 lakh, respectively. All these special variants are 7-seaters. The XUV700 Blaze Edition, which comes in a dual-tone Red and Black color scheme, features a blacked-out finish on the front grille, wing mirrors, roof, alloy wheels, and A-, B-, and C-pillars. The SUV also has ‘Blaze Edition’ badges on the front fenders and tailgate.

The limited edition has an all-black interior with contrasting red stitching on the upholstery and red accents on the center console and air conditioning vents. Engine options include a 2.0L turbo petrol engine with 200 bhp and a 2.2L turbo diesel engine with 185 bhp.
