Tata Nexon Dark Edition Launching In March – Variant Details

Tata’s Dark Edition series, available with the Harrier and Safari model lineup, has been a hit among buyers. Now, the company is gearing up to introduce the Tata Nexon Dark Edition to further boost sales of the subcompact SUV. The Dark Edition will be available across six variants – Creative, Creative+, Creative+ S, Fearless, Fearless S, and Fearless+ S – from the early weeks of March 2024. The engine setup will include the same 1.2L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel motors, delivering power worth 120bhp and 115bhp, respectively. Transmission duties will be handled by a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed AMT, and a 6-speed DCT gearbox.

What’s Special With Tata Nexon Dark Edition?

The Tata Nexon Dark Edition was showcased in flash light at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. Painted in all-black color, the model receives a sporty black treatment on the front and rear bumpers, alloy wheels, and roof rails along with a dark Tata logo. Inside, it features an all-black theme with black leatherette upholstery, a black roof liner, and a piano black center console.

In terms of features, the Nexon Dark Edition will have all the goodies on offer available on standard Creative and Fearless trims. The list will include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, auto-dimming IRVM, height-adjustable driver seat, cooled glovebox, automatic climate control, reverse camera, 360-degree camera, front parking sensor, blind-view monitor, cruise control, and a tire pressure monitoring system.

Tata Nexon CNG Coming Soon

Besides the Dark Edition, the indigenous automaker will introduce the Tata Nexon CNG with the 1.2L, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine and its own twin CNG cylinder technology. It will be the first turbo-petrol CNG car in its category slated to arrive around the 2024 festive season. In terms of design and styling, the Nexon CNG looks exactly similar to its ICE-powered counterparts.
