Mahindra Scorpio N Z8 Select – Prices, Features, Delivery Details

Mahindra & Mahindra has broadened its top-selling Scorpio N SUV model lineup with a new Z8 Select variant in the country. The new Mahindra Scorpio N Z8 Select variant is available with the 2.0L TGDi petrol and 2.2L mHawk diesel engines, delivering 200bhp with 370Nm of torque and 172bhp with 400Nm, respectively. Both manual (6-speed) and automatic gearboxes are offered. It’s important to note that the Z8 Select trim is exclusively equipped with the 4X2 drivetrain system. The new Z8 Select petrol variants, with a 7-seater configuration, are priced at Rs 16.99 lakh and Rs 18.49 lakh, respectively. The Z8 Select diesel manual version costs Rs 17.99 lakh, while the diesel automatic is available at Rs 18.99 lakh. Positioned between the Z6 and Z8 trims in the model lineup, this new trim is nearly Rs 1.65 lakh more affordable than the regular Z8 trim. Deliveries will commence from March 1st, 2024, across all Mahindra dealerships.

The new Mahindra Scorpio N Z8 Select variant is exclusively offered in the Midnight Black color scheme with coffee-black leatherette interior. In terms of features, it includes a 20.32cm touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a 17.78cm color TFT instrument cluster, built-in Alexa, Adrenox Connect with 60+ connected car features, sunroof, and more. However, the new trim lacks certain equipment such as dual-zone climate control, push-button start, power-folding mirrors, a tire pressure monitoring system, auto wipers, and auto headlamps.

On the safety front, the new Z8 Select variant provides six airbags for protection along with electronic stability program, hill hold control, hill descent control, and cruise control. It features dual barrel LED headlamps with LED DRLs, LED projector fog lamps, and R17 diamond-cut alloy wheels.

With the introduction of the new variant, the company aims to further enhance Scorpio N’s sales by appealing to a wider audience base.
