BYD Seal To Come In 3 Variants – Features Revealed
The long-awaited BYD Seal electric premium sedan will finally go on sale on March 5, 2024. This electric sedan will be offered in 3 variants – Dynamic Range, Premium Range and Performance. It will be offered with two battery pack options – a 61.4kWh and 82.5kWh – with the latter offering in both single and dual-motor options.

This variant is packed with a rear-axle mounted electric motor that draws power from a 61.4kWh batery pack. The electric motor is rated at 204PS and offers a peak torque of 310Nm. It is claimed to offer a range of 460km (WLTC cycle) in a single charge. The battery can be charged using the 7kW AC charger and the 110kW DC fast charging.

This mid-spec variant is packed with a 82.5kWh battery pack with a rear-axle mounted electric motor. The electric motor offers 313PS of power and 360Nm of torque. This variant is claimed to offer a range of 570km on a single charge. This variant supports both a 7kW AC charger and 150kW DC fast charging.
BYD Seal Performance Features (Over Premium Range)

It comes equipped with the same 82.5kWh battery pack that is offered on the Premium Range variant. This model comes with a dual-motor setup with front-axle motor rated at 247PS and 310Nm of torque. The combined power and torque stands at 560PS and 670Nm, respectively. This top-spec model is claimed to offer a range of 520km in a single charge.
