2024 Mahindra Scorpio N – Feature Reshuffle & Price Hikes

Since its introduction to the market in 2022, the Mahindra Scorpio N has undergone several adjustments to its features and variants, accompanied by corresponding price increases. The latest development in the report involves the removal of select features from the Z4 and Z6 variants such as the absence of a cooled glove box. Consequently, these features are now exclusively available in the Z8 and Z8L trims.

Notably, the Z6 variant now comes a monochrome 4.2-inch MID unit, replacing the 7-inch colored TFT screen previously provided for the driver. Additionally, the infotainment system no longer includes built-in Alexa compatibility and the Adrenox Connect feature. This adjustment is attributed to Mahindra’s Integrated Material Cost Reduction (IMCR) practice.

New Mahindra Scorpio N Variants

In conjunction with the feature reshuffle, the Mahindra Scorpio N Z4 and Z6 trims have witnessed price increases of up to Rs 34,000 and Rs 31,000, respectively. The Z4 trim, available with petrol and diesel engines, as well as manual and automatic gearbox options, is now priced within the range of Rs 15.24 lakh to Rs 18.51 lakh. Meanwhile, the Z6 trim, offering diesel manual and diesel automatic configurations, is priced from Rs 16.61 lakh to Rs 18.30 lakh.

At present, the Scorpio N SUV model lineup comprises a total of 30 variants, with prices ranging from Rs 13.60 lakh to Rs 24.54 lakh. The petrol variants start at Rs 13.60 lakh, reaching up to Rs 21.98 lakh, while the diesel variants are priced between Rs 14 lakh and Rs 24.54 lakh. Within the automatic segment, buyers can choose from 11 diesel and petrol variants, available at prices ranging from Rs 16.80 lakh to Rs 24.54 lakh. It is essential to note that all the mentioned prices are exclusive of showroom charges.

In other updates, Mahindra introduced the all-new Global Pik Up concept in South Africa last year, with the production version anticipated to make its global debut around 2025. The Pik Up concept showcased a 2.2L Gen II mHawk diesel engine, producing 132bhp/300Nm and 175bhp/370Nm with a manual gearbox, and 175bhp/400Nm with an automatic gearbox.
