2024 New Hyundai Creta Facelift – Price Expectations
Scheduled to grace Indian roads on January 16, 2024, the new Hyundai Creta facelift will be the South Korean automaker’s first product launch, heralding a series of updates that will extend to the Alcazar and Tucson SUVs. This revamped SUV, for its 2024 model year, will undergo substantial cosmetic enhancements and feature upgrades, showcasing a new 160bhp, 1.5L turbo petrol engine borrowed from the Verna, accompanied by a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox. Complementing this, buyers will have the choice of the 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5L diesel engines, alongside the existing gearbox combinations.
Elevating its standing in the mid-size SUV space, the 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift will introduce the Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) tech. This comprehensive suite will encompass advanced safety features like an emergency braking system, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, blind-spot monitoring system, collision avoidance, high beam assist, and more. The SUV will be further boasted a fully digital instrument cluster, a 360-degree camera, and updated seat upholstery, while retaining the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with the latest smartphone connectivity.
Visually rejuvenated, the 2024 new Hyundai Creta is a testament to the brand’s evolving design language. Notable changes will include a Palisade SUV-inspired grille, vertically positioned headlamps with a split pattern and cube-like detailing, a tweaked front bumper, H-shaped LED DRLs, and an updated tailgate reminiscent of the Exter. Spy images hint at the potential inclusion of larger 18-inch wheels sourced from the Alcazar.
Undoubtedly, the comprehensive updates in the 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift come at a price, with expectations of a noticeable increase. Presently priced between Rs 10.87 lakh and Rs 19.20 lakh, the updated model is anticipated to range from Rs 11 lakh for the base variant to Rs 21 lakh for the fully-loaded, ADAS-equipped variant.
Looking ahead, Hyundai’s ambitions extend beyond the facelift, with plans for an electric iteration of the Creta mid-size SUV anticipated to debut towards the end of 2024. Additionally, the market can anticipate the arrival of the Hyundai Creta N Line around mid-2024, further expanding the model’s diverse offerings.
