SUVs continue to dominate the Indian automotive market, renowned for their elevated ground clearance, superior visibility, and versatile capabilities. Despite an array of options available across various segments, the anticipation is high for four new SUVs set to make their debut on Indian roads in early 2024. Let’s delve into some key details of these upcoming SUVs.

Kia Sonet Facelift

2024 Kia Sonet Leaked

The eagerly awaited Kia Sonet facelift is ready to debut in December, with its market launch scheduled for early 2024. The refreshed model has already made a flash appearance, showcasing minor cosmetic enhancements such as tweaked front and rear bumpers, a new front grille, headlamps with LED DRLs, a revised faux skid plate, new alloy wheels, and distinct taillamps. The cabin receives major upgrades, including a new instrument cluster, upholstery, and a slightly modified dashboard layout. The standout feature is the introduction of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology, while the powertrain remains unchanged.

Hyundai Creta Facelift

Hyundai Motor India is gearing up for the launch of the new Creta facelift in early 2024, potentially in February. Substantial updates are expected both inside and out, with a focus on incorporating ADAS technology for enhanced safety features. The SUV might feature a new fully digital 10.25-inch driver’s display. Powering the Creta will be the existing 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5L diesel engines, alongside the addition of the Verna’s 1.5L turbo petrol engine generating 160bhp. Multiple gearbox options will be available, varying across different variants.

Design changes will draw inspiration from the XUV700, featuring a two-part front grille, C-shaped LED headlamps, new alloys, revised rear bumper, and tweaked tailgate.
