Honda Elevate SUV Price Expectations – Variant-Wise

Honda Cars India is gearing up to make its mark in the fiercely competitive midsize SUV segment with the introduction of the all-new Elevate model. The automaker has officially announced that it will reveal the pricing details on September 4, 2023. Prospective buyers can already place their bookings, and those interested can experience the vehicle firsthand through test drives at authorized Honda dealerships.

The upcoming Honda Elevate SUV launch holds substantial significance for the Japanese car manufacturer, as it boldly takes on the leading contender in the segment, the Hyundai Creta. It’s poised for a head-to-head battle against other formidable competitors including the Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun.

Undoubtedly, the pricing strategy for the new Elevate SUV will play a pivotal role in determining Honda’s positioning within the Indian market. The automaker has confirmed that the SUV will be offered in four distinct variants: SV, V, VX, and ZX. The entry-level SV variant encompasses a fundamental set of features such as LED projector headlamps, 16-inch wheel covers, LED taillights, automatic air conditioning, fabric upholstery, push-button start/stop, PM2.5 air filtration, 60:40 folding rear seats, rear parking sensors, dual front airbags, hill start assist, and vehicle stability assist. Stepping up to the Elevate V trim brings forth added features compared to the base model. These enhancements encompass an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, connected car technology, a 4-speaker sound system, reversing camera, and steering-mounted controls. The V variants are anticipated to be priced within the range of Rs 12 lakh to Rs 13 lakh.

The VX trim level boasts the inclusion of LED projector fog lamps, 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, roof rails, a single-pane sunroof, LaneWatch camera, a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, auto-folding outside rearview mirrors, wireless phone charging, and a 6-speaker sound system. This premium package is estimated to carry a price range of Rs 14 lakh to Rs 15 lakh.

At the zenith of the lineup, the ZX variant offers an exclusive array of features, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), an 8-speaker sound system, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, auto-dimming interior rearview mirror, leatherette upholstery, and chrome door handles. Considering this comprehensive package, the Honda Elevate ZX variants are expected to be priced between Rs 16 lakh and Rs 17 lakh.

Under the hood, all four trims of the new Honda Elevate SUV are propelled by a 1.5L, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated i-VTEC petrol engine. This powertrain is asserted to deliver a peak power output of 121PS and a torque of 145Nm. The vehicle offers a choice between two transmission options: a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed CVT automatic.
