All-New Hero Karizma XMR – 10 Super Cool Features

Hero MotoCorp has finally introduced the highly anticipated Karizma XMR, marking its arrival with an introductory price of Rs 1,72,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The booking window for the motorcycle will open promptly at 2:10 pm today, September 29, 2023, with deliveries set to commence shortly thereafter.

Accompanying the price announcement are the revealed specifications, features, and key details of the new Hero Karizma XMR. Let’s delve into its ten impressive features.

New Hero Karizma XMR Power

The 2023 Hero Karizma debuts the brand’s new liquid-cooled, DOHC, 210cc, single-cylinder engine, capable of producing 25.5bhp at 9,250rpm and 20.4Nm of torque at 7,250rpm. This engine resides within a steel trellis frame, complemented by a telescopic fork and preload-adjustable monoshock. It can reach a top speed of 140kmph. Diverging from its predecessor’s 5-speed gearbox, the new Karizma XMR boasts a 6-speed gearbox and introduces a slip and assist clutch—a pioneering feature for Hero.

Notably, the motorcycle is the first from Hero to offer dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system), drawing braking power from a 300mm front disc and a 230mm rear rotor.

The 2023 Karizma XMR distinguishes itself as Hero’s maiden model to sport a broader rear tyre, enhancing both aesthetics and performance.

With its fresh fairing and sharp lines, the new Karizma XMR presents an impressive visual appeal. It flaunts an all-LED lighting setup, encompassing LED headlamps, turn indicators, DRLs, and even LED turn indicators.

Another industry first for Hero, the Karizma XMR features an adjustable windscreen, catering to rider preferences.

Departing from the conventional handlebar-mounted mirrors, the bike incorporates fairing-mounted ORVMs, complemented by sporty low-set clip-on handlebars.

The motorcycle integrates a state-of-the-art fully digital instrument cluster—the largest in its class. This comprehensive unit displays an array of information, including trip details, date, time, gear position, tachometer, and speedometer readings.

Embracing modern connectivity, the new Karizma XMR introduces Bluetooth features such as turn-by-turn navigation and notification alerts.

Offering multiple choices, the bike is available in three distinctive colors—Iconic Yellow, Matte Phantom Black, and Turbo Red.
