Select Kia Dealers Taking Bookings For Updated Seltos

The updated Kia Seltos is set to have its India debut on July 4, 2023. While official booking details are yet to be announced, select Kia dealerships have started accepting pre-orders with an initial sum of Rs 25,000. Prices are likely to be announced towards the end of July. We already have a good idea of what to expect from the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift, thanks to spy images and videos. Additional details will be released next week.

2023 Kia Seltos Design Changes

The refreshed model features a refurbished and larger grille, tweaked front bumper, and newly designed headlamps with DRLs, giving it a new look. ‘Ice Cube’ LED fog lamp assembly is positioned further down. Moving towards the sides, the SUV gets newly designed alloy wheels. The rear section has also been revised with an updated bumper and taillamps. The GT Line trim receives sporty red inserts in the front and rear bumpers, along with dual exhaust tips.

The highlight of the new Seltos will be the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) tech. The suite is likely to offer around 16 active and passive safety features, including adaptive cruise control, forward collision avoidance assist, intelligent speed limit assist, blind spot collision warning, and more. The SUV also features a panoramic sunroof and will be the first vehicle in its segment to have dual-zone climate control. Kia might also update the instrument cluster and infotainment system. 2023 Kia Seltos Engines

Buyers will have three engine options with the new Seltos, including a 1.5L petrol (115bhp/144Nm), a 1.5L T-GDi petrol (160bhp/253Nm), and a 1.5L CRDi VGT diesel (116bhp/250Nm). The SUV model lineup will offer four gearboxes: a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic, a 6-speed iMT, and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.

Price Expectation

The updated version of the Seltos is expected to be priced more or less similar to the existing model, which is available within the price range of Rs 10.89 lakh to Rs 19.65 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).”
