Mahindra’s Product Launch Plan For 2024 – All Details

We won’t see any major product launch from Mahindra & Mahindra this year. The information comes from Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director (Auto & Farm Sectors), Mahindra & Mahindra. Though, the carmaker has promised an exciting 2024 for its buyers. There will be two major offerings from the home-grown automaker – the updated XUV300 and the 5-door Thar. Here’re all key details of the upcoming Mahindra SUVs that we know so far.

Heavily Updated XUV300

XUV300

As competition is getting fiercer in the subcompact SUV space, Mahindra will give a significant update to its XUV300. The facelifted model is likely to debut towards the end of this year and its price might announce in the first half of 2024. A test mule of the 2023 Mahindra XUV300 facelift was recently caught on camera, but the heavy camouflage managed to cover its design details. We expect it to come with a newly-designed split grille, tweaked bumper and LED headlamps with C-shaped DLRs inspired by XUV700. A few changes will also be made to its rear section. Inside, the new XUV300 might receive a larger touchscreen infotainment system with Mahindra’s latest Adrenox UI with OTA updates, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charger and a 360 degree camera. 5-Door Thar

Mahindra Thar RWD Price

Mahindra Thar is selling a hot cake in India. As of now, we have its 3-door version with seating capacity of 4 passengers. In order to attract wider audience, the carmaker will bring in its 5-door version that will be more practical option for both family car buyers and auto enthusiasts. That means, the 5-door Mahindra Thar will be promoted as a lifestyle off-road SUV. While its powertrain setup is likely to be similar to its 3-door version, the 5-door Thar will be longer and more spacious. It’s expected to be offered with multiple seating configurations and engine options. New Mahindra XUV700 MX 7-Seater – Price, Features Explained

Mahindra & Mahindra has expanded its XUV700 SUV lineup with a new entry-level 7-seater variant, the MX, priced at Rs 15 lakh. It’s about Rs 40,000 more expensive than the 5-seater version and Rs 3 lakh cheaper than the AX3 7-seater variant. The new Mahindra XUV700 MX 7-seater is being offered with a 2.2L diesel engine that delivers a peak power of 156 bhp. It comes with a 6-speed manual transmission. The MX 5-seater variant is also available with a 2.0L turbo petrol engine and a 6-speed manual transmission. Yamaha Aerox S Priced at Rs 1.50 Lakh; Gets Smart Key

Yamaha Motor India has introduced the new Aerox S variant with keyless ignition and a few more features. This new variant has been priced at Rs 1,50,000, thus making it Rs 3300 more expensive from the standard variant. It can be had in two colour schemes – Silver and Racing Blue. By simply pressing a button on the smart key, you can easily locate the scooter as it triggers flashing indicators and emits a distinctive sound. Instead of the conventional slot, the key knob conveniently adjusts to various positions, whether it’s powering on/off the scooter or opening the fuel cap. The new Yamaha Aerox S variant is equipped with an immobilizer feature, ensuring the vehicle automatically locks when the smart key is beyond its range. No other changes have been made to it.
