Honda Elevate SUV – All Key Details We Know So Far!
Honda Elevate midsize SUV is going to be a big product launch in the Indian automotive industry this year. The Japanese automaker will unveil its global SUV on 6th June and its India launch will happen in August 2023. It will Honda’s answer to Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun. The Elevate SUV prices are estimated to start from Rs 12 lakh for the base variant to Rs 17 lakh for the top-end variant. Honda Elevate Exterior Design
The new midsize SUV from Honda will carry upright stance and derive some of its design elements from the company’s global SUVs. Upfront, there will be the signature grille with mesh insert and a thick chrome slate, a sleek air dam, LED headlamps with LED DRLs, faux skid plates and raised bonnet.
The Elevate will come with the newly-designed multi-spoke alloy wheels with black finish. The front door mounted ORVMs will also get sporty black finish. Though, the black treatment could be reserved for the higher trims. Some of its other design highlights will include a shark fin antenna, an electric sunroof, roof rails, two-piece LED taillamps, rear bumper mounted reflectors, rear wiper and washer and a tailgate mounted number plate holder. Honda Elevate Interior, Features
Honda’s new SUV will come with the ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) and a 360 degree camera as revealed by spy images. Called Honda Sensing, the ADAS suite will offer features such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, collision mitigation braking system, automatic high beam assist and road departure warning. There will also be a freestanding touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, cruise control, ambient lighting system, etc.
Honda Elevate Engines
The new Honda SUV might initially be made available with the City’s 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine delivering power worth 121bhp and 145Nm of torque. The gasoline unit can be had with either a manual or an automatic gearbox. Reports suggest that the Elevate SUV could be offered with the strong hybrid powertrain at a later stage.
