All-New Skoda Kodiaq, Superb To Debut This Year – Teasers Out

The Czech automaker has released the first teasers of the new-generation Skoda Superb executive sedan and Kodiaq 7-seater SUV. The teaser images show silhouette of both models along with the sleeker LED headlamps and LED taillamps. The company has confirmed that the all-new Superb and Kodiaq will be offered with multiple powertrain options including petrol, diesel, mild and plug-in hybrid setup. The ICE-powered version of the 2024 Skoda Kodiaq and Superb will make debut towards the end of this year.

The carmaker says that the new Superb will “set standards in terms of comfort and space,” while the new Kodiaq “will take safety, technology, and versatility to the next level”. Skoda also revealed that the new Superb (global-spec) will be manufactured in Bratislava, Slovakia alongside the Volkswagen Passat. The new Kodiaq, however, will continue to be assembled at the carmaker’s Kvasiny facility in the Czech Republic. Just so you know, the Skoda Superb and Octavia sedans were discontinued in India, thanks to more stringent BS6 Phase II emission standards.

2024 Skoda Superb Teaser

Besides the 2024 Skoda Kodiaq and Skoda Superb, the carmaker announced its plan to launch six all-electric vehicles by 2026. Its EV lineup includes two SUVs, an MPV and a Combi Wagon. The company will also foray into the affordable global small EV market in the next couple of years. The new Skoda small electric SUV – Elroq – will measure around 4.1metre in length. In global markets, it will be introduced as a replacement to the Skoda Karoq. The Skoda Elroq will see a market release sometime in 2024.

The carmaker will also update its Enyaq SUV range in the next 2 years. The SUV’s updated model will feature the brand’s new Modern Solid design language and come with “modern, efficient” ICEs (internal combustion engines). The existing global-spec Skoda Enyaq iV electric SUV will make its way to India. It could be offered with in top-end Enyaq iV 80X trim packed with a 77kWh battery pack and dual motor setup. The SUV offers a WLTP claimed range of up to 513km.
