All New Hyundai Verna Clearest Photos – More Details Emerge

The Hyundai Verna sedan is the brand’s global model, which is on sale in multiple international markets with different names. In select markets, the Verna is sold as the Hyundai Accent. The company has officially announced that the all new Hyundai Verna sedan will be launched in our market on March 21, 2023. The company has already released the design sketches and engine options for the new sedan.

Ahead of the official reveal, the all new Hyundai Verna has been fully revealed in leaked photos. The new model is radically different from the outgoing model, featuring all-new design and interior. The sedan is designed on Hyundai’s Sensuous Sportiness design language, which we have already seen on the new Elantra and the Grandeur sedan. The sedan appears futuristic and sporty, featuring distinctive connected front lighting, parametric jewel type grille and fastback-like side and rear profile.

The front fascia has a connected light, featuring three slim light panels to create a connected beam. This connected light set-up is similar to the one offered on the Grandeur and the new Sonata. It has a new parametric-jewel-pattern grille with turn signal integration wide, and full LED headlamp setup. The sedan has a sculpted bonnet with sharp lines and creases. The round fog lamps are placed on the edges of the front bumper, which looks like a part of the grille.

The all new Hyundai Verna has a fastback-like styling with a tapered roof. There are strong lines running across the length of the sedan. The spotted model has multi-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels. The rear also shares styling cues from the global Elantra sedan. It has high-tech “H-Tail Lamp ” that creates flying logo-like shape, a wing-type lower bumper treatment and a tapered roofline to enhance coupe-like look. The spptted model has a single-pane electric sunroof and a shak-fin antenna.

The sedan will also come with ADAS tech with features like automatic emergency braking, forward collision mitigation, lane departure warning, lane keep assist and more.

The all new Hyundai Verna won’t be offered with a diesel engine option. Moreover, Hyundai has also removed the 1.0L turbo petrol engine from the Verna line-up. It will be offered with two petrol engine options – a 115PS/144Nm, 1.5L 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated and a 160PS/250Nm, 1.5L turbo petrol. Both engines will be compliant with the upcoming RDE (Real Driving Emission) norms. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual as standard, an IVT with NA petrol & a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission with turbo petrol.
