Hyundai Creta CNG Spotted – All Key Details

Hyundai Motor India has started testing the CNG version of its top-selling Creta SUV in the country. A test mule of the Hyundai Creta CNG was recently caught on camera featuring a CNG equipment. The model is likely to be offered with the 1.4L GDi turbo petrol engine paired to a factory-fitted CNG kit. Transmission on offer might include a 6-speed manual gearbox. Just so you know, the 2023 Hyundai Creta facelift is ready to make its India debut at the Delhi Auto Expo in January. The SUV’s CNG version is expected to be introduced with facelifted model. The front end of the new Creta will be heavily reworked with the brand’s new ‘parametric grille’, more rectangular headlamps slightly repositioned on the bumper and uniquely designed DRLs. The rear profile will be revised with the sharper, newly-designed taillamps, re-profiled boot lid and updated bumper.

All aforementioned features will be accessible through smartphone. The SUV will continue to offer a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, cooled front seats, an air purifier, ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, etc.

One of the major feature upgrades will come in the form Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS). Though, it could be reserved for the top-spec trim.

Engine-gearbox combinations will remain intact. The new 2023 Hyundai Creta facelift will come with the existing 1.5L petrol, 1.5L diesel and 1.4L turbo petrol engines delivering 115bhp, 115bhp and 140bhp respectively.
