Mahindra XUV700 Priced At Rs 11.99 – 19.79 Lakh; Bookings From 7th Oct

Mahindra & Mahindra has officially announced the prices of the new Mahindra XUV700, which is offered in both 5 as well as 7-seat options. The SUV is available in two Series – MX and AX Series. The MX Series is available in two variants – MX Petrol & MX Diesel – priced at Rs 11.99 lakh and Rs 12.49 lakh respectively.

The AX Series is offered in 3 trims – AX3 5-seater, AX5 5-Seater and AX7 7-Seater – and in petrol and diesel fuel options. All these trims are offered with manual as well as automatic gearbox options. The Mahindra XUV700 AX Series with petrol engine is priced between Rs 13.99 lakh and Rs 19.19 lakh, while the diesel range starts at Rs 14.59 lakh and goes up to Rs 19.79 lakh. Buyers can also convert their 5-seater models to 7-seater by paying an additional amount of Rs 60,000.

All the prices will be applicable for the first 25,000 bookings. Official bookings for the SUV will commence on October 7, 2021; however, Mahindra dealers have already started accepting pre-orders for the SUV at a token amount of Rs 21,000. Mahindra will announce the start of delivery date on October 10, 2021. Test drivers for the new XUV700 in Phase 1 will commence from 2nd of October, while the Phase II drives will commence from October 7, 2021. 

Mahindra has also introduced two optional packs – Luxury Pack on AX7 automatic and AWD on AX7 diesel automatic – which costs an addition Rs 1.8 lakh and Rs 1.3 lakh respectively. The optional Luxury pack offers features like 3D Sound by Sony, electrically deployed Smart Door Handles, 360 degree surround view, blind view monitoring, electronic parking brake and wireless charging.

Mahindra XUV700 Variants

Mahindra will first start deliveries of the petrol variants of the SUV. The company has also announced a new FinX – an industry-first Financing Initiative which is exclusive for XUV700 with 20 ‘Xclusive Launch Finance Offers.” Under this, registration and insurance; accessories, shielf, AMC and Loan protection can also be funded up to 100% On-Road funding with zero down payment. Mahindra will also offer XUV700 under Leasing in association with Mahindra Finance & Orix to its retail and corporate customers. Adding to it, the XUV700 will be available under Mahindra Subscription at zero down payment and road tax.

The new XUV700 is offered with two engine options – a 2.0L 4-cylinder, mStallion turbocharged petrol and a 2.2L 4-cylinder mHawk turbocharged diesel. The petrol engine is capable of producing 200bhp and 380Nm of torque. The diesel engine offers two states of tunes – 155bhp/360Nm with MX version and 185bhp/420Nm (450Nm with AT) with AdrenoX AX trim. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. The diesel engine also offers 4 driving modes – Zip, Zap, Zoom and Custom. These drive modes are claimed to alter performance and steering response.
