2021 Hero Xtreme 200 4V – More Power, Improved Styling, New Features

Hero MotoCorp will soon introduce the updated Xtreme 200 4V with the four-valve engine setup in the country. The new model was recently caught on camera ahead of its official arrival. The 2021 Hero Xtreme 200 4V will come with the improved styling and a bunch of new features. While its official engine details are yet to be revealed, the updated model is likely to feature the BS6-compliant 199.6cc, 4-valve, single-cylinder engine. The updated motor is expected to deliver power close to 20bhp – 21bhp. With the 2 valve setup, the same motor pushes out a peak power of 17.83bhp and 16.45Nm of torque. It will come with the same 5-speed gearbox. Its braking system will include the 276mm upfront and 220mm disc rear brakes along with the standard single-channel ABS.

A few changes will be made to its design including the full LED lighting and revised headlamp. Some of its design bits will be inspired by the Xtreme 160R. The bike will also receive a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity as we have seen in the Xpulse 200. The latter’s instrument cluster displays information such as gear position, turn-by-turn navigation and more.

In other updates, the home-grown two-wheeler makes will also roll out the updated Hero Xpulse 200 4V just ahead of the festive season. The new model will be more powerful than the existing one. The bike will come with new colour schemes, better styling and more features. Hero MotoCorp is also working on an electric scooter that will hit roads by March 2022. Rumour has it that the new Hero electric scooter could be based on the Gogoro VIVA or designed from scratch. Hero is working on multiple EV models under its partnership with the Taiwan-based Gogoro.
