2021 Hero Xpulse 200 4V Launching Soon – What To Expect?

Hero MotoCorp is ready to launch the updated Xpulse 200 4V motorcycle in coming weeks (i.e. just ahead of festive season). The new model was recently caught on camera without any camouflage revealing its production-ready design and feature details. Here’re all details of the upcoming 2021 Hero Xpulse 200 4V we know so far.

More Powerful

Reports suggest that the new Xpulse 200 will be more powerful than the existing model. The new one is likely to feature a 199.6cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with a 4-valve cylinder configuration instead of 2-valve OHC setup. The 4V layout will enhance its performance at high rpms. It might also improve its power and torque figures. In its current form (2V), the motor produces a peak power of 18.1bhp at 8,000rpm and 16.45Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. The updated model will continue to feature the 5-speed gearbox.

 New Colours

While there is no official word on the same, the new Hero Xpulse 200 4V 2021 is likely to be offered in new colour options. The latest spy images reveal that the bike will get the dual-tone White and Blue paint scheme. At present, the bike comes in five colours – Matte Green, Sports Red, Matte Grey, Panther Black and White.

New Body Graphics

The 2021 Hero Xpulse 200 4V will have new body graphics along with the ‘4valve’ decal on the fuel tank. It will continue to feature an upswept exhaust. For performing suspension duties, the bike will have the same 37mm telescopic front and monoshock rear unit with 10 steps of pre-load adjustability and 170mm of travel. The updated Xpulse 200 will ride on the 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels. It will have 276mm front and 220mm rear disc brakes along with the single-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system).

Prices of the new Hero Xpulse 200 4V 2021 are expected to be slightly higher than the existing model. Currently, the bike comes with a price tag of Rs 1.21 lakh (ex-showroom).
