Tata Nexon Dark Edition Launch Soon – Price Expectations

Tata Motors will soon expand the Nexon subcompact SUV model lineup with the new Dark Edition. Prices of the new model are likely to be announced in coming weeks. The carmaker will also roll out the Tata Altroz Dark Edition alongside the new Tata Nexon Dark Edition. In fact, both models have started arriving at dealerships across the country.

Similar to the Harrier Dark Edition, the Nexon and Altroz Dark editions have been painted in Atlas Black colour scheme. The black finished faux skid plates, grey headlamp inserts and black finished alloy wheels further enhance their sporty look. On the front fenders, you can notice the chrome badge lettering ‘Dark’. Expected Prices

The Tata Nexon Dark Edition and Tata Altroz Dark Edition are likely to be based on their top-end XZA+ (O) and XZ trims respectively. Compared to their standard counterpart variants, the Dark Editions are likely to cost around Rs 20,000 – Rs 30,000 more expensive.

Feature Details

The subcompact’s range-topping variant is exclusively offered with an 8-speaker Harman audio system, premium leatherette seats, 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, rain sensing wipers, 6-way adjustable driver’s seat, cooled glovebox, rain sensing wipers, multi-drive modes, powered sunroof and automatic headlamps. The Altroz XZ trim comes equipped with steering mounted controls, front and rear armrest, rain sensing wipers, wearable key, climate control, ambient lighting, rear AC vents and auto headlamps.

Engine Specs

Under the hood, the Tata Nexon Dark Edition will feature the 1.5L petrol and diesel engines. Powering the Tata Altroz Dark Edition will be the same 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5L diesel engines. While the gasoline unit makes power worth 86bhp with 113Nm of torque, the oil burner pushes out 90bhp and 200Nm of torque. Both models are likely to be available with manual and automatic gearbox options.
