Skoda Kushaq Mileage (1.0L MT) Higher Than Creta & Seltos

Skoda Auto India has revealed mileage figures of its recently-launched Kushaq mid-size SUV. The model has initially been offered with a 1.0L, 3-cylinder TSI turbo petrol engine that’s good for 115bhp and 178Nm of torque. It comes with both 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox options. While the manual version is claimed to return fuel economy of 17.88kmpl, the automatic variant promises 15.78kmpl. Its arch rivals, the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos 1.5L are available with 1.5L petrol with manual and automatic gearboxes and 1.4L turbo petrol with DCT automatic transmission combinations.

Compared to the Skoda Kushaq, the Creta and Seltos’s 1.5L petrol manual and 1.4L turbo petrol DCT variants are less frugal. The Creta and Seltos’s 1.5L MT deliver a claimed mileage of 16.8kmpl and 16.5kmpl. The 1.4L turbocharged petrol DCT offers 16.8kmpl (Creta) and 16.5kmpl (Seltos). However, the 1.5L petrol automatic Creta (17.1kmpl) and Seltos (16.8kmpl) promise more mileage than the Kushaq 1.0L AT.

Kushaq 1.0L 17.88kmpl 15.78kmpl
