Mahindra Scorpio X Trademarked – New Variant Or Pick-Up?

Mahindra has trademarked the Scorpio X name, which is expected to be the new Scorpio-N based pick-up. The company had also filed trademarks for Scorpio K, Scorpio L, Scorpio M and Scorpio Z; however, only the Scorpio X has been accepted. Mahindra had showcased the Global Pik Up concept last year, which will enter production in near future. Internally called Z121, the Mahindra Scorpio-N based lifestyle pick-up will first go on sale in global markets including South Africa, Australia and the Middle East. Likely to be called the Mahindra Scorpio X, the new model will be based on the next-gen ladder frame architecture. Maruti Suzuki is aiming for a significant transformation to transition away from conventional petrol (ICE) vehicles by 2030-31. While the company’s existing product portfolio is predominantly gasoline-based, the new strategy will signify a drastic shift in the coming years. Ola Electric has reduced the prices of the S1 electric scooter range by up to Rs 25,000. The e-scooter range now starts at Rs 84,999 and goes up to Rs 1,29,999 (ex-showroom). The new prices are applicable for a limited period and will be revised in March 2024. The Ola S1 range (S1 Pro, S1 Air and S1 X+) with 3kWh battery pack have received a price reduction. Ola Electric had reduced the price of the entry-level S1 X+ model by Rs 20,000 in December 2023. The scooter was originally priced at Rs 99,999. The price has been again reduced by a good 5,000, taking the total discount to Rs 25,000. The picture shared by OLA reveals that this variant is priced at Rs 1,09,999 and after discount, it costs Rs 84,999. That’s a price reduction of Rs 25,000.
