Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder To Get ADAS – Key Details

In the recent times, we have seen many automakers introduced advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) equipped vehicles in the Indian market. Maruti Suzuki is also reportedly planning to introduce the ADAS-equipped Grand Vitara mid-sized SUV. The Maruti Grand Vitara with ADAS is expected to be launched sometime in the first quarter of the next financial year (that’s April-June 2024). The ADAS tech is most likely to be offered on the top-end trims of the Smart Hybrid & Strong Hybrid variants of the SUV. The new SUV will feature level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System. Not just the Grand Vitara, the Toyota Hyryder is also likely to receive ADAS tech. The Grand Vitara range starts at Rs 10.70 lakh, which goes up to Rs 19.20 lakh. The diesel 7-Seater 740d M Sport is locally produced at BMW Group Plant in Chennai, while the all-electric BMW i7 M70 xDrive is available as a completely built-up unit (CBU). New Tata Harrier & Safari Facelift Full Price List Revealed

Tata Motors has recently launched the updated versions of the Harrier and Safari SUVs in the country. At the time of the launch, the homegrown automaker announced prices of limited variants. Now, full price list of the new Tata Harrier and Safari facelift have been revealed. While the Harrier is priced between Rs 15.49 lakh and Rs 26.44 lakh, the new Safari is priced in the range of Rs 16.19 lakh to Rs 27.34 lakh (ex-showroom). Both SUVs are powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine that produces 170PS of power and 350Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic. The Harrier manual version is claimed to return an ARAI certified fuel economy of 16.08kmpl, while the automatic model delivers 14.60kmpl.
